The Delaware Sports Commission (DSC) and the Hockessin Police Athletic League Center (PAL) will host the North American Table Tennis (NATT) 2010 Tour Finals on October 9 and 10. This open singles event is one of a series of annual events held in select cities across the nation. Participants register to compete for a cash prize, and the event is open to the public.

"We are delighted that the NATT Tour is coming to Delaware," said Governor Jack Markell. "With our
central location in the Mid-Atlantic region, family-friendly atmosphere and variety of sports venues,
Delaware is the ideal place to host sports tournaments." A fan of table tennis, Governor Markell has a
history of competing in table tennis tournaments.

NATT has been conducting table tennis events since 1998. Through industry support and professional
event management, NATT is bringing professionally operated events to venues throughout
North America. Today, NATT events are the most widely attended in USA Table Tennis. Additionally,
NATT has been contracted to manage the U.S. Open Championships, U.S. National Championships,
U.S. Open Team Championships, and the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

"Table tennis is becoming increasingly popular in the sports arena," said Matthew Sparks, Executive
Director of the Delaware Sports Commission. "The Hockessin PAL Center is a perfect venue for this
regional event. It's a pleasure to partner with NATT and PAL for this exciting, season-ending
competition."

The Hockessin PAL Center was the venue of choice for this competition because of the site amenities,
easy access from I-95, small town charm, and a host of local eateries. The DSC actively seeks
opportunities to draw youth, amateur, and professional sport events to the First State. Acting as a
facilitator, the DSC collaborates with venues and service providers to find the most suitable fit for
individual sport events.

The Delaware Sports Commission, a not-for-profit organization, was established to attract large and
small sporting events to Delaware to benefit the sports industry and community and to positively impact
Delaware's economy. The Delaware Sports Commission also assists with the retention and growth of
existing sports events. To date, the DSC has partnered with close to a dozen regional and national
events, paving the way for larger scale future events to be held in Delaware.

The Delaware Sports Commission, 99 Kings Highway in Dover, Del., promotes and recruits single-day
and multi-day regional and national events and supports the growth of existing sporting events for
Delaware. For more information, visit the official Delaware Sports Commission website at
