Wedding Traditions of the du Pont Family: 1813-1915 Exhibit at Hagley Museum and Library

Wedding Traditions of the du Pont Family, 1813-1915 highlights heirloom jewelry, bridal portraits and two wedding gowns. It explores how weddings changed from intimate ceremonies in the home to the larger "white" weddings we know today. The exhibit has been extended to July 2012.
