Lantern Tour of the Indian River Life-Saving Station
Friday, March 1, 2013
Begins at 7:00 p.m.
Tour the Life-Saving Station Museum by lantern light. Learn how surfmen rescued shipwreck victims, and then patrol the beach and hear local shipwreck tales. Pre-registration required.

23rd Annual Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival
Saturday, March 2, 2013
11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
The 23rd Annual Rehoboth Beach Chocolate Festival will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center. It's a day of fun for the whole family! Tastings start at 11:30 am and last until the chocolate runs out or 3:30 pm.

History Hayride at Trap Pond State Park

Begins at 3:00 p.m.
Find out about the Native Americans, pioneers and farmers who were here before Trap Pond was a park. Meet other park visitors as you tour the park in our rustic hay wagon. Then enjoy hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows around the campfire. Registration is required by calling (302) 875-5153.

Dollars Days at Hagley Museum

Admission to Hagley is only one dollar every Sunday in February and March, except for Easter. Enjoy the picturesque winter landscape along the Brandywine. Experience the warmth of the Steam Engine house and industrial noise of the Machine Shop. Visitors can tour the du Pont ancestral home, Eleutherian Mills, and lunch at the Belin House Organic Café. It will feature several items costing $1 each. Admission free for members.

Sailor’s Valentines at the Indian River Lifesaving Station

To fill their time and create gifts for those at home, sailors in the 1800s made mosaics of seashells mounted in a wooden frame. Use items found on the beach and make a true keepsake valentine. Pre-registration required. Ages 10 and up. $15 per person.
