7th Annual Lewes Winter Fest Barkfest
Friday and Saturday
9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Around Second Street and across the canal at Irish Eyes Pub and Restaurant
Shop downtown Lewes and take advantage of their Valentine holiday-themed specials. A pet pageant will take place on Saturday afternoon and Yappy Hour. For more information call 302-645-8073.  

Sailor’s Valentines at the Indian River Lifesaving Station
Friday, February 8, 2013
Begins at 7:00 p.m.
To fill their time and create gifts for those at home, sailors in the 1800s made mosaics of seashells mounted in a wooden frame. Use items found on the beach and make a true keepsake valentine. Pre-registration required. Ages 10 and up. $15 per person.

Glow: Living Lights exhibit at the Delaware Museum of Natural History

Sunday – Noon – 4:30 p.m.
From fireflies and glowworms to alien-looking creatures in the sea, many unusual animals are lighting up the dark. Come see why in this enlightening special exhibit!

Stories of the Green at First State Heritage Park

Victorine’s Valentine’s Day

Please join us to celebrate Valentine’s Day here at Hagley! Bring your loved ones to make homemade Valentines, decorate a candy bar wrapper, and snack on hot chocolate and gingerbread hearts. U-boat War Exhibit at Cape Henlopen State Park

Mardi Gras Jazz Jamboree

Come to the Brick Hotel on the Circle for a Louisiana-themed buffet to celebrate Mardi Gras! There will be crawfish, gumbo, dirty rice, king cake, beignets and other New Orleans favorites. Advance reservations are suggested.
