"Driving Desire: Automobile Advertising and the American Dream" exhibit at Hagley Museum

The “Driving Desire" exhibit at Hagley Museum explores the relationship between automobile advertising and Americans’ car buying decisions. This new exhibition features more than one hundred artifacts and historic images, drawing heavily from Hagley’s Z. Taylor Vinson collection of transportation ephemera.

The annual Apple Scrapple festival celebrates Delaware's agricultural community with live entertainment, carnival rides, trade and craft shows. Plus, visitors can sample Delaware's one-of-a-kind scrapple!

150th Anniversary of Diamond State Base Ball

DSBBC will host a 19th century base ball game in Rockford Park against the Athletic Base Ball Club of Philadelphia. The two clubs will demonstrate how the early game was played with a match featuring 1860s rules, using replica uniforms and reproduction equipment (and no fielding gloves!).
