Chinese Festival

The Chinese Festival celebrates the rich diversity of Chinese culture in the Greater Wilmington region. Through exhibits, gourmet food, and cultural performances, the event attracts thousands of visitors every year. This year’s festival features Chinese cloisonné, paper cutting, and tea culture.

Formed in Dewey Beach Delaware over 30 years ago, Skim USA is a youth focused organization dedicated to promoting the sport of Skimboarding. SkimUSA works closely with local surf/skim shops and a core of dedicated volunteers to run competitions in Florida, North Carolina, Delaware and New Jersey. While a large part of our mission is to offer skim competitions, we also fund a scholarship program where each summer we award $1000 scholarships to two college bound SkimUSA members. Each year we choose four members to represent Skim USA on our youth team. Team Skim USA is an elite group and an athlete has to be at the top of their game both in and out of the water to make the cut.

Join Winterthur's horticulture staff for monthly garden walks highlighting interesting and seldom seen parts of the Winterthur landscape. Walks begin at the Visitor Center. Enjoy watching the sunset over Winterthur after a walk through the gardens and farm fields to the Train Station. Bring a flashlight and wear walking shoes. Members free. Included with admission. 

America on Tap - Delaware

Grab 4-8 of your friends and head down to the water for the 6th annual Dewey Beach Scavenger Hunt! Make your way through the bars along Coastal Highway as you solve puzzles, answer trivia, and enjoy $3 Miller Lite Aluminum Pints all day long! Registration begins at 12 PM at The Starboard and the Hunt is on at 2 PM! After testing your skills (and your liver), make your way back to back to The Starboard for an Awards Ceremony and After-Party from 6-8 PM. Tickets begin at $50/team but the price will rise as our remaining tickets are sold so don’t wait! Choose your team wisely, register for The Hunt, grab your favorite team costumes if you have them, and get ready for one of the best days of the summer!

43rd Annual Outdoor Fine Art & Fine Craft Show

Over 125 artists and artisans from around the country will display and sell their fine art and fine crafts amidst the Rehoboth Art League's 3.5 acre historic wooded location in Henlopen Acres. The annual Outdoor Show is a juried event yielding exceptional work, and many of the artists actively enjoy demonstrating their creativity during each day of the show. Historically, work was hung on snow fences surrounding the property, and some artists maintain this homage to history, while others display their work in booths throughout RAL’s grounds.

Fair to say Dala have spent many memorable evenings together over the past decade. They’ve shared the stage with the likes of Jann Arden, Tom Cochrane, Richie Havens and Arlo Guthrie and performed at some of North America’s highest profile music festivals. Among them the New Orleans Jazz Fest, Mariposa and the 50th Anniversary of the Newport Folk Festival. Jesse Ruben is a Philly-bred singer/songwriter currently living in Brooklyn, NY. He has independently sold over 10,000 albums, gotten song placements on TV shows such as 'One Tree Hill,' 'Degrassi,' and 'Teen Mom' and toured with some amazing artists including Jewel, KT Tunstall, Rick Springfield, and Hanson.

The Beer Games at Mispillion River Brewing
