Why are there 36 main sites and 15 additional sites?
The 36 sites known as the “Distinctive Dozen” include the most significant locations to Delaware’s history and heritage. These are the sites that will qualify participants to complete the Delaware History Trail. The additional sites known as the “Fabulous Fifteen” are suggested locations that you may want to explore while you journey through the history of the First State.

How long will it take for me to receive the “Landmarks and Legacies” book?
Please allow approximately 14 business days for shipping. ** Note the “Landmarks and Legacies” book will not be ready to ship until June 2012 but, we will keep your passport on file and ship the book when they arrive. **

Where are the Delaware History Trail signs located and what do they look like?
The Delaware History Trail signs are located within walking distance to the site locations. Various sign locations are noted within their site listings on the website or in the downloadable passport. The listings also contain phone numbers, addresses and web links for your convenience.
What are the scan codes on the signs and what does “Snag the Tag” mean?
The scan code on the corner of the sign is a direct link for participants to provide feedback on the site locations along the Delaware History Trail. To “Snag the Tag” means you are able to scan the Microsoft Tag (aka scan code) using a specific phone application to gain access to the feedback form. Step 1: Download the Microsoft Tag app at http://www.gettag.mobi/. Step 2: Scan the code with the app. Step 3: Complete the feedback form!
