There is no place quite like Delaware.  Escape to “Chateau Country” for riveting landscapes made famous by Andrew Wyeth’s paintings. Watch the sun rise over the ocean at the Great Dune near Lewes and a great blue heron as it takes flight from the marshlands of Bombay Hook Wildlife Refuge. Our state capital, Dover, is home to one of the most beautifully preserved capitol complexes in the nation, captured by the First State Heritage Park. Hotel, banquet center and nine-hole golf course. Course features challenging golf holes for the experienced golfer, yet forgiving for the novice player.

Cooch's Bridge
Scene of the Battle of Cooch's Bridge, Sept. 3, 1777. Only Revolutionary War battle fought in Delaware. Tradition holds that the new 13-star flag, the Stars and Stripes, was first unfurled during action here.

Treasures of the Sea Exhibit
Exhibit showcases the riches recovered from the wreck of the Spanish galleon Nuestra Senora de Atocha, which sank off the Florida Keys during a hurricane in 1622. Touring the exhibit, viewing a video on the search for the shipwreck, and visiting the gift shop typically takes about 1-1/2 hours.

Rehoboth Beach
Hundreds of stores, restaurants, hotels, B&Bs, a boardwalk and a gorgeous ocean view await visitors to downtown Rehoboth Beach. Visit wonderful boutique shops, awesome gourmet restaurants plus casual eateries, with beach favorites like taffy, funnel cakes, custard and goodies galore. There's something for everyone year round.

Jungle Jim's
An amusement park that has everything from mini-golf to go-carts. Also has bumper boats, rock climbing, battle cages and the River Safari waterpark, which features a lazyriver, wave pool, activity pools and a kiddie pool. The waterpark has a bath house, lockers and the River Safari cafe.
