Enter the park from Killens Pond Road and drive in past the seasonal Waterpark to the parking area. Enter the Pondside Nature trail (yellow trail) at the trailhead. After about 0.3 miles you will take the side trail to the observation area where the cache is located. After finding the cache, enjoy the views of Killens Pond and then return to the Pondside Trail and continue further on the trail to find DGT Killens #2 From March 1 to November 30 day use park entrance fees are charged ($3 for Delaware car, $6 for out of state) The fee is good for all state parks that may be visited that day--save your receipt.
DGT Killens Pond State Park #1 (Coordinates) - N 38° 58.954 W 075° 32.430
Its best to first find DGT Killens #1 and then continue on the Pondside Nature Trail walking about 0.2 miles. The cache is located about 100 feet off the trail on a high bluff area that will be an easy bushwhack. You can then return the way you came or for a shorter route back take the Sports Connector Trail to the Cross Country trail (sand road) that will take you back to the parking area.
