Use the Park Office parking to start your visit to Lums Pond for this cache. Then drive to Area 4 for the other 2 Lums Pond caches.From March 1 to November 30 day use park entrance fees are charged ($3 for Delaware car, $6 for out of state) The fee is good for all state parks that may be visited that day--save your receipt.
DGT Lums Pond State Park #1 (Coordinates) - N 39° 34.089 W 075° 43.844
Park at Area 4. Walk toward the pond and then follow the Swam Forest Trail (yellow) west near the edge of the Pond. Cache is located within 20 feet of trail--no need to bushwhack. Return to Area 4 and take the trail east over the bridge to Lums #3
DGT Lums Pond State Park #2 (Coordinates) - N 39° 33.655 W 075° 43.677
Park in Area 4. Walk toward the pond and take the pedestrain bridge over the inlet. Chose wisely on the Life Course trails and you will end up at the balance beam station and have about a 50 foot bushwhack. Chose wrong trail and you could have a longer thorny bushwhack.
