The Hagley Museum and Gadrens is an outstanding facility that tells the story of Delaware’s duPont family and the gunpowder works they established here in 1802. Hagley is located on the Brandywine River, the 235 acre site includes mills, a workers’ village, and the family’s ancestral home, as well as one of the finest business and technology research libraries in the nation.
