Loblolly Acres is a working farm that has been in the Warren family since 1964. When Barbara and Gooden Warren first bought the farm, there was no electricity, phone service or running water on the farm. The whole family pitched in to build a new home and to renovate the existing barns. In the beginning, the family raised vegetables and mums. In 1975, the first Christmas trees were planted. In 1988, the family decided to redo one of the original barns into their first Christmas Shop. Over the years, the Christmas Shop has been expanded and a pumpkin patch, mazes, walking trails, a petting zoo, hayrides, a snack area and a pavilion with picnic tables have been added.
