Nemours is a 300-acre country estate of the late industrialist and philanthropist Alfred I. duPont. The Nemours Mansion and Gardens is a breathtaking piece of architecture with a large reflecting pool, long garden walks and a mansion designed in the late-18th-century French style. Nemours is open to the public for tours but, reservations are required.
