Ted Harvey Wildlife Area

Parking: Designated parking lots outlined on wildlife maps.

This wildlife area consists of over 2,600 acres of natural area consisting of tidal marsh, forest and agricultural fields dedicated to wildlife management. The primary objective of this area is to provide public hunting and fishing.

Hours of Operation: Sun.-Sat. Closed dusk-dawn unless hunting or fishing.

Seasonal Hours: Wildlife area closed for all activities except deer hunting during firearms deer seasons except Sundays. Fishing access area open year-round.

Best Time to Visit: Year round

Best Known For: Hunting, fishing, crabbing, bird-watching.

Special Equipment: Mosquito repellent is needed during warm seasons.

Special Instructions: Waterfowl, deer and small-game hunting require a permit.   Area closed for all activities except deer hunting during firearms deer seasons except Sundays.

Discover marsh and bayside birds and keep a lookout for the White-winged Tern.
