Fenwick Island Lighthouse - Transpeninsular Marker

Description
Amenities
TripAdvisor

Located on the grounds of the historic Fenwick Island Lighthouse, the marker is the first of a series of stone monuments that were placed by surveyors in 1750-51 to mark the Transpeninsular Line separating Delaware and Maryland, giving visitors the opportunity to take in a bit of the state's history and the creation of the historic Mason-Dixon line. While the tower is inaccessible at present, an organization of volunteers conducts tours of the grounds from May thru October. Please call for hours.
