Providing Delaware's historic downtowns, communities, and small businesses with tools to revitalize their commercial districts, increase entrepreneurial opportunity, and enhance quality of place.
In the 1970s, the National Trust developed its pioneering Main Street approach to commercial district revitalization, an innovative methodology that combines historic preservation with economic development to restore prosperity and vitality to downtowns and neighborhood business districts.

Brandywine
Greater Brandywine Village Revitalization, Inc. implements initiatives to improve the quality of life in the greater Brandywine Village, focusing on economic development, transportation, housing, and historic preservation.
Delaware City
Delaware City and its variety of architecture, shops and dining establishments are enjoyed by many visitors who stop on their way to the remarkable Fort Delaware, a well-preserved Civil War Fort located on Pea Patch Island, a short ferry ride from Delaware City.
Dover
Main Street Dover is a non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing the Downtown Dover, Delaware District. Main Street Dover works hand in hand with the National Trust for Historic Preservation's National Main Street Center and the Delaware Main Street initiative to create a variety of programs that serve to improve our downtown district.
Middletown
Main Street Middletown is a non-profit organization dedicated to the successful revitalization of the downtown district in a united community effort in the hopes that this will enhance the quality of life for all Middletown residents and establish downtown Middletown as a cultural and retail destination in a historic and aesthetically beautiful environment.
Milford

Newark
The Downtown Newark Partnership has created a unique environment in which the City of Newark, businesses, residential communities, and the University of Delaware can work together toward a common goal: THE ONGOING ENHANCEMENT OF MAIN STREET.
Rehoboth
Rehoboth Beach Main Street is working to provide incentives to achieve an attractively designed series of storefronts, restaurants, and hotels, each unique in its appeal and charm, where visitors and residents alike can enjoy the inviting atmosphere created by a revitalized streetscape.
Wilmington
Main Street Wilmington's mission is to direct the promotion and improvement of the central business district by partnering with key stakeholders in the community and to transform ideas into action, through outreach, design, promotion, historic preservation and economic development.
