Transportation

Delaware's central location in the Mid-Atlantic region makes us an ideal location for meetings and conventions. Situated within a four hour’s drive of one-third of the East Coast population, Delaware is easily accessible by car, train, air and even by boat!

I-95, I-295 and I-495 all feed into Delaware, and Route 1 runs the entire length of the state. If you arrive by train, Amtrak has over 80 stops a day at the Wilmington, Delaware, station. For those traveling by air, Delaware is only 28 miles from the Philadelphia International Airport and less than 60 miles from the Baltimore/Washington International Airport. Travelers can also arrive by boat via the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, which has up to 14 crossings a day. Regardless of how you decide to travel to Delaware, you and your group will have a productive and enjoyable experience!
