Beast of the East National Wrestling Tournament (Evergreen); Bob Carpenter Center, University of Delaware 

Sponsored and organized by the Delaware Wrestling Alliance, is the top high school scholastic tournament in the country, which also attracts college recruiters.

Senior League Softball World Series; Lower Sussex Softball Complex, Roxana, DE

International Coaching Enrichment Certificate Program; University of Delaware, Newark, DE

An intensive coaches’ education program consisting of lectures, projects, guest speakers, participant presentations, group work, field trips, and project planning and implementation.

Delaware Softball Invitational; Wilmington, DE

U.S. Figure Skating Eastern Sectional Championship; Fred Rust Ice Arenas, University of Delaware, Newark, DE

This event features approximately 250 top level amateur figure skaters that are competing for the opportunity to continue on to the AT&T U.S. Figure Skating Championships. In addition to the athletes, this event brings coaches, parents, family and more than 50 U.S. Figure Skating officials to Newark, Delaware.

American Collegiate Hockey Association's Division I National Championship; Fred Rust Ice Arenas, University of Delaware, Newark, DE

A five-day hockey tournament featuring 16 of the nation’s top collegiate hockey teams in a a 16-team single elimination and 19- game format.

Kent County's 'Amish Country Bike Tour' (Evergreen); City of Dover, DE

Sponsored by Kent County Tourism, a bike ride through our beautiful countryside with Amish-baked food at the Amish Schoolhouse food stop. First Saturday after Labor Day. For all ages and abilities. 

Wilmington 'Grand Prix' Bike Race (Evergreen); City of Wilmington, DE

A USA Cycling National Racing calendar event. The Wilmington Grand Prix is a figure-eight criterium over a one-mile course in downtown Wilmington.  

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Events; Dover Motor Speedway, Dover, DE

The "Monster Mile" is now the number three race in the "Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup" and will be a serious hurdle for any driver vying to the become the champion.

AAU U-13 National Championships; Sports At The Beach, Georgetown, DE

500-700 teams, representing the 52 AAU Districts, compete in AAU Baseball National Championships
