Hike a different trail with a park naturalist each Sunday in January. Get out, warm up and enjoy the winter scenery. Pre-registration required. Call for costs, meeting locations and pre-registration by 4 p.m. on the day prior to each hike. More

Tour the Life-Saving Station Museum by lantern light. Learn how surfmen rescued shipwreck victims, and then patrol the beach and hear local shipwreck tales. Pre-registration required. $10 per person. More

Families work together to build inventions using everyday household items, and take apart electronics and gadgets to see how they are made. Children explore scientific principles at our hands-on science fair. The event will highlight the fascinating new technology of 3-D printing. Williams creates drawings and sculpture that address ideas of home ownership in the United States. For this exhibition, the artist photographed and made drawings of homes in Wilmington, which he incorporates into his DCCA solo exhibition. More
