The first Creek Kid event of the summer will focus on the science and technology of Du Pont, from gunpowder to nitrocellulose to polymers. Families can try hands-on science experiments, crafts, and activities throughout the afternoon. More

Join us for an evening of Stargazing as we uncover the mystery and stories of the stars! If the night sky is clear, participants will head out to the beach. Feel free to bring a blanket and pillow so you can enjoy this program lying down. If the sky is cloudy, the program will move indoors and us and interactive Stellarium to view the night sky and constellations. More

Thomas the Tank Engine Day – Choo Choo! Come out to Frawley Stadium to celebrate Thomas the Tank Engine Day with the Blue Rocks! Every Sunday home game for the Wilmington Blue Rocks is also known as Sunday Funday for Families. The image of the eagle has been an important icon in the history of the du Pont family. The du Pont family came to America on the ship “American Eagle," the DuPont Company's first product was Eagle Gun Powder, and decorative arts collected by Mrs. Louise du Pont Crowninshield were adorned with eagles, a common symbolic element in Federal-style furnishings.
