Woodburn, The Governor's House
Built in 1798 and remains one of the finest 18th-century houses in Delaware. Home to Delaware's governors since 1965. There are four open houses a year and two festivals held on the grounds.

Cooch's Bridge
Scene of the Battle of Cooch's Bridge, Sept. 3, 1777. Only Revolutionary War battle fought in Delaware. Tradition holds that the new 13-star flag, the Stars and Stripes, was first unfurled during action here.
