The Art of Living TV Show with Marilu Henner will feature Delaware as one of the most amazing destinations to explore in the United States. The segment entitled, "Delaware - The Hidden Travel Gem," will air on the Travel Channel on Friday, March 19, at 6:30 a.m. ET.

Filming of the TV show was coordinated by the Delaware Tourism Office, which highlights Delaware's history and appeal. Governor Jack Markell narrates portions of the show and is also shown driving a race car at the Dover Downs infamous Monster Mile international speedway.

"Come to Delaware and learn about our nation's history," invites Governor and Delaware native,
Jack Markell. "Delaware has so much to discover. Delaware was the first State to ratify the constitution in
1787. We have a great history, including wonderful art museums and cultural activities, as well as beautiful
beaches and tax-free shopping."

"Each county has its own allure and distinctive offerings," says Linda Parkowski, Director of the Delaware
Tourism Office. "The TV show is another promotional tool created to entice out-of-state visitors to come to
Delaware. Delaware is ideally situated in the mid-Atlantic region and is a great, affordable place to visit,
vacation, and hold group tours, sports events, and meetings and conventions."

The old world culture of New Castle County, the excitement of gaming and NASCAR racing in Kent County, and the pristine beaches and outdoor attractions of Sussex County are just a few of the Delaware wonders cited in the show. The du Pont legacy is also featured with its extraordinary estates, museums, and gardens. A Pennsylvania family is seen enjoying the coastline attractions of Rehoboth Beach, a cherished family tradition for three generations.
