Dover 4th of July – A celebration of Independence in the Capital of the First State

Tours, events, food, music and more take place all over history Dover on July 4, but things really ramp up starting at 6 p.m., when the American Legion Independence Day Parade rolls down State Street, beginning at Hazel Road and ending at The Green. At 7:45 Dover Air Force Base flies some of its finest overhead, and then at 8 the Delaware National Guard's 287th Army Band delivers an outdoor concert packed with patriotic tunes on Legislative Mall. Newark – Fourth of July Fireworks and Liberty Day

Food, music and fireworks are part of the annual Liberty Day celebration that will once again take over the southern part of Newark and the University of Delaware campus from 6-9 p.m. July 4. "The Red, White, and Blue July 4th Celebration" takes place July 4 in Tubman-Garrett Park along the Riverwalk.
