New zip line at Lums Pond State Park by Go Ape
The first and only zip line and treetop adventure course in Delaware, located south of Wilmington and just minutes from I-95 in Bear.  Four zip lines take you high over Lums Pond, the largest freshwater pond in Delaware. $55/adults; $25-35/kids. Reservations are required.

Experience summer fun at Killens Pond Water Park

From the Mushroom Fountain to the adventure-filled Floating Lily Pad Fun Walk, the pool's exciting interactive water features give visitors of all ages plenty of reasons to head for the park. Swirl down one of our two 27-foot high, 205-foot long twisting and turning water slides, ending with a splash in a specially designed splash pool.

East Coast Skimboarding Championships
August 10 – 11, 2013
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Catch some amazing wave-riding action from amateur divisions on up to the pros. The championship will take place at Swede Street in Dewey Beach.

Rehoboth Art League Outdoor Show
August 10 – 18, 2013 (Saturdays and Sundays only)
Saturday (10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.); Sunday (10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
More than a hundred artists working in a variety of media will set up shop and sell their creations at this annual art extravaganza set on a shaded and picturesque campus. A great day for browsing, buying or just strolling from tent to tent while enjoying the food and music.
