Free Wildlife Drive at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge
February 14 - February 16, 2015
1/2 hour before Sunrise - 1/2 hour after Sunset.
Take in nature’s beauty with a 12-mile drive through one of the most beautiful wildlife refuges in the country. You are guaranteed to spot snow geese, bald eagles, blue herons and many other birds as they flock to Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge to feed and rest. The entrance fee will be waived to celebrate Presidents weekend.

Tales of Slavery Walking Tours

Take a guided tour of historic Dover led by historical interpreters in period dress. Learn of Delaware’s complicated position regarding slavery. The tour begins at the John Bell House on The Green every hour and last approximately 45 minutes.

The 8th Annual Lewes Winter Fest Barkfest Yappy Hour

Enjoy some Bark-tinis, Cat-atonic and Muttinis at the Irish Eyes Pub & Restaurant in Lewes. Proceeds from the Yappy Hour social will go to the Delaware SPCA shelter in Georgetown. Attendees to the Yappy Hour can come with or without pets and dogs should be on a leash with one dog and one handler.
