The five-day Festival showcases approximately 100 of the best American and international films including features, documentaries, and shorts. Film enthusiasts enjoy the convenience of seeing all the films at one, multi-screen location. The Festival also offers informative seminars, opportunities to converse with celebrity guests.

50th Annual Delaware Antiques Show

Sixty of the country's most distinguished antiques dealers return to present a stunning array of American furniture, paintings, rugs, porcelain, silver, jewelry, and decorative arts at the 50th Annual Delaware Antiques Show at the Chase Center in Wilmington.

Go Ape Zip Line at Lums Pond State Park!
Recurring weekly. Times and dates vary based on reservation schedule
Four zip lines take you high over Lums Pond, the largest freshwater pond in Delaware with 5 individual sections within the course - rope ladders, 42 exciting crossings including Double Stirrups, and stunning views that take you higher into the forest canopy.  Please note there is an entry fee for the Park - $3 for DE registered vehicles & $6 for out-of-state vehicles.

Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge – Veterans Recognition Weekend

Sunrise to Sunset
The Refuge's $4.00 entrance fee will be waived to honor veterans. Bombay Hook is open from sunrise to sunset and invites individuals and families to tour the 12-mile wildlife drive and to walk 5 short walking trails. Early November is a great time to observe the fall foliage colors, migrating waterfowl, and raptors.

“An Illegal Activity: The Underground Railroad in Delaware” exhibit at First State Heritage Park

Planned and created by the Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs in partnership with the Underground Railroad Coalition of Delaware, the exhibit explores the First State's role in the pre-Civil War network of secret routes and safe houses used by black slaves in the United States to escape to free states and Canada with the aid of abolitionists and allies who were sympathetic to their cause.

Bird Identification Tour at Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge with Joel Citron

Family Exploration Day: American Moderns at the Delaware Art Museum

Explore America through paintings and sculptures that capture modern life in the early 20th Century.
