A humorous tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the late 1940s through to the early 1970s, the musical tells the story of a newly engaged couple getting caught in a storm and coming to the home of a mad transvestite scientist, Dr Frank N. Furter, unveiling his new creation, a fully grown, physically perfect muscle man named Rocky Horror, complete with blond hair and a tan.

Bring the family and enjoy a variety of food trucks on a summer Saturday in the middle of July at the Wilmington & Western. Our vintage steam locomotive will be pulling trains through the Red Clay Valley on a 45-minute round-trip. There will also be fun, family activities at the station, plus antique cars and fire-fighting equipment are scheduled to be on display.

Open Cockpit Day

Open Cockpit Day provides the public full access to many of the museum’s aircraft. Tour guides are stationed in the open aircraft to describe the history of the planes and their missions. They are often retired crew members of these airplanes so their descriptions are from personal experience and bring the aircraft to life for visitors.

Pontoon Boat Tours at Trap Pond State Park
