Roald Dahl's classic follows enigmatic candy man Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a tour of the Wonka factory and a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats; the fifth is a likeable lad named Charlie Bucket. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory – or suffer the consequences.

The First State on the Front: WWI and the Road to Victorious Peace commemorates the centennial of World War I and explores Delaware’s participation, offering visitors a window to the experiences and sacrifices of Delawareans on both the warfront and homefront. The exhibition brings the war to life by highlighting the Delaware Historical Society’s rich collections, including a soldier’s muddy boots and garrison cap, a flag from a Gold Star family, letters to loved ones, scrapbooks, victory medals, and a wealth of wartime propaganda posters.

The 2nd Annual Pumpkin Chuckin' will take place at the legendary Big Chill Surf Cantina. This is Delaware's official Pumpkin Chuckin' event where men & women compete to see who can hurl a pumpkin through the air the farthest!
