The Charles Tilton Site: The Household of a Free African American in Central Delaware at the Turn of the 19th Century
At the start of the 1800s, Charles Tilton lived with his family on a farm that is now part of Killens Pond State Park. This program will discuss what we know of the site and the Tilton family from archeological studies and historical documents. Program will be held on the nature center deck.
