The Delaware Discoveries Trail showcases unique artwork from national and local artists. Each concept was inspired by Delaware’s landscapes and each destination. Here is a look at the incredible artists.

Kelsey Montague
27099 Coastal Hwy
Bethany Beach, DE 19930
United States
2591 Whitehall Neck Road
Smyrna, DE 19977
United States
Kelsey is one of very few artists who are exploring how public art, interactive art and social media intersect. She believes that art should not be separated from the human experience. Instead the human experience should have a hand in creating the art itself.
Kelsey creates large scale, interactive street murals around the world. Kelsey has created work in Cape Town, Galway, Buenos Aires, Hong Kong, Manchester and New York City (among others). Each piece provides an opportunity for people to become a ‘living work of art.’ Participants are encouraged to post pictures with the work on social media under the hashtag #whatliftsyou with the intent of making social media a kinder place.
Her work has been featured by Taylor Swift, Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The Smithsonian and The Today Show.
With over 140,000 followers Kelsey uses her Instagram to continue to explore how art can, and should, weave itself into our daily lives.

Mispillion River Brewing
Location: Milford, DE
Growing up in the shore break of Slower Lower Delaware, Mike found a home within the beach culture. Now a bit older, he has brought that culture into his work. Making cool designs, illustrations, and branding for clients as a freelance artist is an exhilarating ride, but just as rewarding because he loves every moment of it. It's like he is a kid body boarding in the surf, not wanting to get out because there's always another wave or project to look forward to each day.
