BACKGROUND: “Doodles in Dewey (http://www.doodlesindewey.org/)” began in 2005 to raise money for Food&Friends, a wonderful organization that provides nutritional services, groceries and healthy homemade food delivered to those suffering from chronic life-threatening illnesses. Social worker Amy Scott began the romp as a tribute to a young man who died too soon. He was a teacher, counselor and a dog lover, who used and loved Food&Friends. The romp started with a small group of people and their doodles and it has grown every year. Raffles will be sold on the day or you are welcome to make an optional donation if you so choose.
