From up and coming young artists to more experienced musicians, we'll be featuring local music every Wednesday night from 7-9 p.m.! Check out our October lineup! October 3 – Alex Razze Alex first picked up the guitar while at art school in the 90's. As he moved about the country and established a career as a visual artist, playing the guitar and making music with others remained a creative outlet and acted as a bridge for meeting like-minded folks. He returned to east coast in '09 and settled in Milton, Delaware to raise a family. He quickly recognized the vibrant music scene in the area and soon found a place in the local lineup to share his music. His performances blend eclectic rock, country and folk favorites with an honest, easy going vibe. October 10 – Fil Rhythm Phil Bonsignore is a powerful guitarist, singer and songwriter hailing from Delaware by way of New York, and has been influenced by a wide variety of artists, such as Eric Clapton, SRV, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers and many other songwriters along the way. October 17 – Tim Cooney Timothy Cooney’s music is a soulful mix of folk, blues and rock arranged for fingerstyle guitar. Born into a large musical family, Timothy grew up in a house full of instruments and was immersed in a community of acoustic finger pickers and songwriters. Timothy’s fascination with piano eventually led to experimental two-handed melody and percussion techniques, often compared to those of Michael Hedges and Andy Mckee. Whether he’s singing a creative rendition of a familiar cover song or performing an intricately-arranged virtuoso instrumental piece, Timothy Cooney’s music is distinctive and exceptional! October 24 – Captain Blue’s Grass Band Captain Blue's Grass Band is steeped in rich history. Hailing from good ole Sussex County, Delaware, they strive to keep classic American culture alive through their lively picking, heartfelt vocals and soaring harmonies. Armed with nothing but acoustic instruments and their voices, Captain Blue's Grass Band is turning heads across the peninsula with their own funky blend of Bluegrass, Folk and Rock n' Roll. Joey Todd (Vocals/Bass), Joshua Rose (Vocals/Harmonica/Guitar) and C.J. Cutsail (Vocals/Guitar) captivate audiences in venues of all sizes across every corner of the Delmarva Peninsula by singing tales of love and loss, mystery and adventure, gambling and betrayal, beauty and horror, and life and death. October 31 – Rich Johnson Rich Johnson is a long time singer songwriter that’s currently working out of Maryland's eastern shore. After spending many years as a lead guitarist/singer in rock and blues bands, both in New York City and San Francisco, he has recently returned to his first love of acoustic music. Influenced by such artists as John Prine, Tom Rush, Little Feat and Van Morrison, his easy going style and unique voice make his personal interpretations of these artists’ material, as well as his insightful and moving original material a distinctive act to experience.
