2024 Brewing for a Better Community

Brewing for a Better Community is a collaborative fundraiser Benefiting the Neighborhood House, Inc. in collaboration with Volunteer Brewing, First State Brewing, Jakl Brew Works, and Crooked Hammock Brewery.

This one-of-a-kind event features locally brewed beer, live music, a country barbecue with a pig roast, hayrides, bonfire, plenty of games to play, and marshmallows to roast. It's a night the whole family will enjoy!

This will be an evening event on Saturday, April 27, 2024, to raise funds to help a well-established nonprofit serving the MOT Community. All proceeds will go to support the Neighborhood House's efforts to expand MOT youth programs, family services, and homeless prevention efforts.

Several local MOT musicians will perform a mix of cover songs and some original music. The music line-up so far includes:

  • Keith Thompson
  • Walter Van Geffen
  • Ron Gold

General Admission Ticket includes all event activities, food, and beer ($75). You must be 21 years of age to be served beer/alcohol.

A Food and Event Only Ticket includes all event activities and food - but no alcohol ($45). This is for those who don't drink alcohol, our designated drivers, and younger adults aged13-20 years old.

Child under 12 Years Old Ticket is free (but please acquire a ticket to help us plan for food and activities).
