Before the hammocks are hung, the lights are illuminated, and the sounds of the Woodlands are welcomed back there are a few important updates to the festival this year to keep in mind for a safe & enjoyable experience. Firefly will require attendees to show either proof of full vaccination status OR negative COVID-19 test result no more than 72 hours before arrival. It is recommended that all guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. For more information on festival safety refer to the below information.

Health & Safety

  • Festival Update : The health & safety of all Firefly Music Festival patrons is of utmost importance to festival staff, and at the core of an enjoyable experience during the festival. In order to ensure the safest possible experience for fans, staff, volunteers, and artists there will be entry requirements, and new protocols in place. Please note the following information, and use the resources provided to plan ahead.  
  • Vaccination Information :

    It is strongly recommended that all guests be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. The last day to receive the second shot of Moderna or Pfizer, or a single dose of Johnson & Johnson is Thursday, September 9th.

    When you arrive to Firefly acceptable documentation as proof of vaccination required for entry include:
    - A physical copy of a COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card issued by CDC
    - A digital copy of such card

  • COVID-19 Testing Sites Near Firefly :

    If not fully vaccinated against COVID-19 it is required that all guests provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test. The test must be taken no earlier than 72 hours (3 days) prior to your first entry into the festival grounds (campgrounds or venue). (e.g for Weds. 9/22 arrival, the test must be taken on Sun. 9/19 or later.)  Please note per CDC Guidelines:
    -If exposed and unvaccinated, you should wait 5-7 days before getting tested.
    -If exposed and vaccinated, you should wait 3-5 days before getting tested.

    For all Curative Site Locations please note: 
    -All tests are intranasal (just inside the nose) – no longer a saliva-based test
    -Turnaround time is averaging 48 hours due to higher demand.
    -All free and no insurance is collected.
