Parking: Parking available on both sides of the Indian River Inlet.
One of Delaware's most popular destinations, Delaware Seashore State Park welcomes visitors with 6 miles of ocean and bay shoreline. Fishing, swimming, birding and camping are popular activities, and the Indian River Lifesaving Station Museum offers visitors a look back at the rich maritime history of the region.

Best Known For: The Indian River Inlet offers the premier striped bass fishing along the East Coast. It is also a mecca for shorebird watching and beachcombing.
Travel Tips: Arrive early if visiting - parking fills quickly.
Special Equipment: Always pack water, sunscreen and bug spray.
Special Instructions: Park entrance fee in effect March 1-Nov. 30. $4 for Delaware-registered vehicles; $8 for out-of-state vehicles.
