The Everett

Constructed in 1922 on the site of the community’s 1868 “Town Hall and Opera House,” this lovingly restored place of entertainment is the cultural center of Delaware’s fastest growing municipality. The Everett is one of the few remaining reminders of the days when most of Delaware’s downtowns held similar attractions, but it is definitely no museum. With a busy agenda of special arts programs, concerts, recitals, plays, and movies – shown on a projector that was purchased in 1942, the Everett is history come to life.
