Gilligan's Restaurant and Bar
The original restaurant was an old fishing boat from Key West in the early 70’s. It was called Dempsey’s Grill, and patrons dined in the boat. Later that decade, the name was changed to Gilligan’s. A chicken house from Sussex County was brought in and added to extend the boat. During the late 80’s, the dining room was added. The current owners took over the restaurant and expanded the name to Gilligan’s Waterfront Restaurant and Bar and have made it into the local favorite that it is today. The kitchen is manned by Executive Chef, Justine Betts and Sous Chef, Ryan Betts. People come from all over the East Coast to enjoy the award winning crab cake and homemade desserts.
