Location: Located on the Delaware Bay, the Historic Lewes Scenic Byway can be reached from New Jersey on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry and from points west, north, and south along US 9, Coastal Highway Route 1, or other gateway roads that take you to this historic beach community on the sea. Length:The total length of the Historic Lewes Byway measures 12.35 miles and consists of Pilottown Road/First Street, Gills Neck Road, New Road, Kings Highway, Cape Henlopen Drive, and Savannah Road.Drive time: 1 hour
