Augustine Wildlife Area, Middletown – Relax at this quiet spot and take a stroll where you can admire resident birds or even go fishing. Multiple trails provide beautiful views of the Delaware Bay.

Cape Henlopen Disc Golf, Lewes – Tossing the disc around Cape Henlopen State Park’s sandy course is a healthy way to get some exercise and enjoy the park’s coastal location!

Headquarters Loop Trail, Georgetown – Out of more than 40 miles of trails in Redden State Forest, this 4-mile trail is a wise option for spending some time outdoors. It does cut through heavily wooded areas, so wear pants to be safe!

Killens Pond Disc Golf, Felton – Stretch your legs (and arms) through this course that winds through a beautiful wooded area at Killens Pond State Park. Wear pants in case you have to chase one of your discs into the trees!

Little Creek Wildlife Area, Little Creek – Situated just south of the popular Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge, you’ll find the smaller but equally beautiful Little Creek Wildlife Area. Be sure to bring some binoculars, you never know what kind of feathered friends you’ll see!

Little Jersey Trail, Bear – This is the longest trail around Lums Pond State Park at 8.1 miles. Try the entire route on bike or part of it on foot. It’s unpaved so be sure to check the weather before exploring!

Prickly Pear Trail, Ocean View – Enjoy a 3.5 mile trek with a sea breeze and lovely views. The trail has two options to start – in Delaware Seashore State Park and Ocean View. Part gravel and part sand, the trail is best explored on foot.
