Fishing Resources
Before you go fishing, crabbing or clamming in Delaware, you must purchase a Delaware fishing license and keep it with you while fishing. A separate permit must be purchased in order to drive vehicles onto the beach for surf fishing, and freshwater trout fishing requires the purchase of a Trout Stamp.
Purchase your license, surf permit and view regulations on the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control website. Click here to download the Delaware Fishing Guide (pdf).
