Amtrak:
Daily train service is available between Wilmington, DE, and the rest of the national Amtrak network. The Wilmington Station, located at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and French St., is a major stop for Acela Express Metroliner and Acela Regional services, and is also the ninth busiest Amtrak station the United States. The station, within walking distance of Downtown Wilmington, is directly served by Dart Fist State bus routes, a New Jersey Transit bus route and numerous taxi cabs. It is also located across the street from the interstate but terminal and a rental car agency. With its direct access to I-95, it is within easy driving distance of major Brandywine Valley attractions and just 30 minutes from the Philadelphia Airport. Amtrak Acela Regional trains also stop in Newark, Delaware. Acela Express, America's first high-speed rail service, serves Wilmington, Washington, BWI Airport, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Trenton, Newark, New York, New Haven, Providence, Boston and most major intermediate rail stations.
