Fireworks at the Hagley Museum & Library

Train at the Freeman Arts Pavilion
Since 1993, San Francisco rock band Train has been putting out chart-topping, infectiously melodic songs—and this weekend, they bring their iconic sound to the Freeman Arts Pavilion! Tickets are sold in pods to ensure social distancing.
Open Blues Jam at Blue Earl Brewing Company
From 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM, musicians of all specialty and skill level are invited to collaborate in the Open Blues Jam, hosted by local musician Joey Fulkerson at the Juke Taproom. They just introduced a new menu for August, featuring pierogis, mouthwatering burgers, and more!
Princess Express Train Ride at the Wilmington & Western Railroad
Create a lasting end-of-summer memory with an excursion on the Wilmington & Western Railroad! This weekend brings their final Princess Express Train Ride of the season, offering an afternoon of whimsical entertainment for all who climb aboard.
48th Annual Outdoor Fine Arts & Fine Craft Show
August 14th & 15th
More than a hundred artists and artisans from the mid-Atlantic region travel to the Rehoboth Beach Art League’s Henlopen Acres campus to display and sell their fine hand-crafted works of art. While in the area, grab a coffee from Rise Up Roasters or have a delicious lunch at Obie’s by the Sea for a refreshing afternoon in Rehoboth Beach.
Day Sails on the Kalmar Nyckel
August 13th & 14th
Enjoy a 2 ½ hour sail on a replica of the “Tall Ship of Delaware” and share the history of maritime culture in Delaware with friends, family, and crew! Pack a picnic or just sit back and enjoy the beauty of sailing on the Delaware River.
