1. Sleeping Bird Coffee (Wilmington)
As a coffee truck turned brick-and-mortar, this recently opened café invites guests with its bird-themed menu, specializing in its delicious coffee and donuts.
2. Rancho Azteca (Dover)
Having recently celebrated its 1-year anniversary, Rancho Azteca always has something new between its Mexican menu, cocktails and live music.
3. Rail Haus (Dover)
As a brand-new beer garden featuring drinks, food and music, the Rail Haus offers a menu of starters, wurst, burgers, mains, salads and desserts for beer enthusiasts, families and four-legged friends alike.
4. Burgers and Brews (Frederica)
This new outdoor venue is open on a seasonal basis, and it will reopen for its second season in March! With live music, cold brews and great food, don’t miss an evening at this locally owned and family-oriented restaurant.
5. Buffalo Wild Wings (Milford)
Led by High 5 Hospitality, LLC, a new Buffalo Wild Wings will be coming to Milford! This sports-oriented venue is the perfect place to watch a good game with your friends while sharing great food.
6. The Dough Bar (Milton)
This popular pizza place has recently renovated its bar! With new cocktail flights, such as the Boozy Breakfast Cocktail Flight, there are plenty of new flavors to explore.
7. Turtley Awesome Nutrition (Lewes)
As a new smoothie and juice bar, Turtley Awesome Nutrition strives to be a healthy alternative to your typical morning coffees and smoothies.
8. Bodhi Kitchen (Rehoboth Beach)
The brand-new Bodhi Kitchen features innovative Asian-inspired cuisine with dishes riffing on Thai, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese and Japanese flavors as a modern take on street food and Asian night markets.
9. Delaware On Tap Trail
The Delaware Tourism Office’s recently relaunched DE On Tap Trail offers 35 locations to savor new flavors. Between breweries, wineries, meaderies, distilleries and more, the trail will take you throughout Delaware to find all its hidden gems.
10. The Culinary Coast
Southern Delaware’s new Culinary Coast website provides listings and suggestions of different restaurants and cuisines to try down South.
BUSINESSES
11. Huxley & Hiro (Wilmington)
As Downtown Wilmington’s new independent bookstore, Huxley & Hiro sells books, gifts, postcards, candy, art, souvenirs and more. Looking into the new year, events at the store will include pop-up shows, happy hour, art loops, author talks and more.
12. Stewart’s Freeze Dried Goodies (Frederica)
This candy store is in the works, but you can place online orders now to try Stewart’s unique candies and sweet treats. Upon its opening, the shop will sell gourmet candy and snow cones.
13. The Farmacy Market (Milford)
Two local families collaborated to create the Farmacy Market, an organic grocery store that focuses on ethical, sustainable and clean farming practices. With carefully selected local food products, this market sells anything from responsibly sourced meat and seafood to gourmet kitchen supplies.
14. Village & Venue (Milford)
As a café and event space, the new Village & Venue offers Acai bowls, fresh fruit smoothies, refreshers, yogurts, waffles and more. The open space, including an indoor and outdoor venue, will be used to house community and guest events.
15. Tapestry Collection by Hilton (Rehoboth Beach)
A new upscale boutique hotel has opened in Rehoboth Beach! Just two blocks from the boardwalk, this hotel features 60 rooms with coastal décor.

16. Winterthur Museum, Garden and Library (Wilmington)
In June of 2024, Winterthur Museum will open a new exhibit known as Transformations. The exhibit will focus on connecting the past and present through contemporary art.

23. Brittingham Farms (Millsboro)
This 90-year-old grain farm is now open to the public with a farm store, specializing in lavender, sunflower, wool and sheep products, and 5 acres of lavender to explore.
