Hopkins Farm Creamery
Lewes
Located on Green Acres Farm along Lewes-Georgetown Highway, Hopkins Farm Creamery started churning ice cream in 2008. The Creamery offers more than 25 delicious flavors, all created right on the farm from the milk of the cows who live there. Options include apple pie, cow pie, moo cookies, chocolate banana walnut and sugar-free options, as well as Italian Ice! A short drive from Lewes, Rehoboth Beach and Dewey Beach, Hopkins is a legen-dairy way to complete the ultimate beach day.
King’s Homemade Ice Cream Shops
Milton, Lewes
Celebrating over 50 years in business, King’s is now managed by the family’s third generation serving up premium ice cream, frozen yogurt and water ice in historic buildings in Lewes and Milton. The Milton location operates out of the oldest commercial building, circa 1830, in southern Delaware and has an historic marker on the property. Both shops have an old-fashioned ice cream parlor feel with root beer floats and banana splits being served in addition to ice cream scoops.
Agape Creamery
Millville
Agape Creamery is located on the Millville Boardwalk beside Lighthouse Beach Golf, Capt’s Quarters Arcade and GoKarts, making this experience fun for the whole family. Agape serves its own ice cream with flavors like Black Razz and out-of-the-ordinary flavors like Gravel Road, Goin Bananas, Cereal Milk and Pumpkin Roll.
Vanderwende’s Farm Fresh Ice Cream
Bridgeville
Set west of Bridgeville Delaware, not far from the Maryland line, Vanderwende’s Farm Creamery produces homemade ice cream right there on the farm thanks to more than 300 hardworking dairy cows. The family run operation makes delicious flavors – try their maple walnut or orange pineapple for something different. You’re also likely to see the Vanderwende’s ice cream truck at local community fairs and events, serving up a cool treat just when you need it most! Frozen Farmer
Bridgeville
This woman-owned frozen treat company is taking farm-to-table to the next level by mixing local milk with ingredients straight from the farm to create tasty frozen treats in the form of frozen dairy desserts and sorbets. Their fruit-based frozen treats are all either reduced calorie or dairy, gluten and fat free and only available in your local grocery store. Fun fact: Their 
business got a boost after their 2020 appearance on Shark Tank and a partnership with Lori Greiner, and they recently partnered with the Barbie Brand in celebration of Barbie’s 65th anniversary to produce Strawberry Lemonade Sorbet Freezer Squeezers!

A totally unique experience! Where else can you get a hole-in-one and ice cream in the same place? Tre Sorelle Dolce has an engaging 18-hole putt-putt course and ice cream parlor serving up specialty milkshakes, waffle sundaes and scoops of your favorite flavors right next door.
Sugar Factory – Bally’s Resort Dover
Dover
Located within Bally’s Resort and Casino in Dover sits Sugar Factory, named “The Most Instagrammed Restaurant in the United States” by Food & Wine Magazine. You’ll find out-of-this world desserts like their Insane Milkshakes which are almost like works of art. You can also try one of their classic desserts or old-fashioned sundaes for two. Really feeling brave? Go for the King Kong Sundae – featuring 24 scoops of ice cream, sauces, a glazed donut, a cupcake, a variety of toppings and sparklers!!!! (Psst – serves 12!)
Marmy’s Creamery
Smyrna
This family-owned ice cream store is putting a modern-day spin on the classic old-time creamery experience. There are so many choices to choose from soft-serve to regular, gluten-free, no sugar added and even vegan ice cream! Wait until you get a look at their twist on sundaes in the form of Stackers (or layered sundaes in a cup) – Pretzel Salad Stacker, anyone?? Woodside Farm Creamery

UDairy Creamery

The University of Delaware boasts not only great academics and sports, but also amazing ice cream made by some pretty important people! It’s UD students who create the deliciousness that is known as UDairy Creamery, after all. UDairy Creamery serves up innovative creations made with milk from cows living on the University’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources’ farm. The Creamery has some pretty cool ice cream names, like 1923, 1St State Cobbler, All Nighter, Delaware River Mud Pie and Holy Fluffernutter!
