  • Learn Something New :

Visiting the Delaware Children’s Museum in Wilmington is a great way for everyone in the family to learn something new. Between the arts and sciences, the museum provides a fun hands-on and immersive experience that teaches children through movement and play. Down in Dover, visit the Air Mobility Command Museum, a World War II-era site, for an up-close view of historic planes and jet transports. You can also test your skills and try “flying” in a simulator!

  • Catch a Show :

Whether you prefer a showing on the big screen or a live performance, you can find both in Delaware! Up North, visit the Delaware Children’s Theatre for live performances, including The Little Mermaid, or Penn Cinema Riverfront for the latest films. For more cinema, explore Milford Movies 9 or Midway Movies. Also South, Clear Space Theatre in Rehoboth Beach has monthly performances of various shows and productions.

  • Be a Little Creative :

Up North in Wilmington, you can find the Delaware Art Museum! With its collection of art and special exhibitions, you can wander the museum or take a class. On. Feb. 19, youths can participate in an artistic “Making Masterpieces” day camp. Or, at Your Creation Station, you can paint pottery, fuse glass, paint, tie-dye and more! If traveling South, visit Rehoboth Beach’s Out of the Box DIY for creative DIY kits and artist-led workshops. For additional classes and programs, check out Delaware State Parks’ upcoming events, such as Nature Art in the Park at Cape Henlopen State Park on Jan. 20 and Feb. 3.
