Georgetown Circle
The Circle is the ceremonial "heart" of Georgetown, Delaware. Established in 1791, the town and its square "circle" is noted for its biennial (and nationally unique) Return Day festival in which tens of thousands come to watch as winners and losers ride together in parades following elections. The town’s Marvel Carriage Museum is home to a number of historic conveyances that are used for the event as well as a number of local artifacts and restored historic structures.
